Our favourite independent shops in Hatton Garden
Hatton Garden has been a thriving mix of culture, shopping, architecture and of course, the place to buy an engagement ring for as long as we can remember. Leather lane market, full of it’s indy food stalls and upscale eateries and coffee shops spills onto the winding rows of glittering diamond stores, some new, and some very old. It’s our favourite place in London to be on a warm Spring day, soaking in the atmosphere and discovering gems of shops and restaurants. And with that atmosphere now returning, we’ve lined up some of the best independent stores in the area that we always tell people they must visit when they’re in the area. And after 25 years of being in Hatton Garden, we know a thing or two about the place.
Kin Street Food
This is our director Nick’s favourite place for a spot of lunch in Hatton Garden, and it’s easy to see why. Dreamed up by a young fashion merchandiser and an IT training expert, Kin brings a slice of pan-Asian street food to Clerkenwell – with the emphasis on fresh, healthy eating. Order the prawn pad Thai and a glass of jasmine iced tea.
The Flower Stall Leather Lane
If you’re in need of flowers this is the place to come. Just about our favourite florist. They make beautiful arrays or art in the form of flower bouquets at very reasonable prices. Speak to Louise, the owner of the flower stall leather lane as they are able to meet all your floral needs, from everyday bouquets to weddings and funerals with a wide range of beautiful flowers and plants to suit all budgets.

Factory LDN
This low-key coffee shop is a real gem of a find if you need some fuel to keep you going. It’s achingly cool and laid back exterior provides the entryway to some of the best coffee in London, mixed with cult beers, snacks and wines.
Nimaya Mindstation
Nimaya Mindstation, a wellbeing and therapy centre recently opened in Farringdon, bills itself as London’s first gym for the mind. It’s the brainchild of former City lawyer Nima Zahed-Khorassani, who left his job to focus on what he’s most passionate about: helping people achieve long-term wellbeing. The centre offers 18 therapies, which range from more traditional methods – yoga, acupuncture, clinical psychology – to innovative, hi-tech therapies such as the PandoraStar, one of the most advanced light machines of its kind, designed to elevate you into a deep meditative state of relaxation. It’s the perfect place to have a break from the hustle and bustle of Hatton Gardens.
